FORMER GOLDSBORO BANDS SONG PICKED UP BY WARNER BROTHERS
Confused Illusion Music Management Co is proud to announce that the alternative/indie band, The Karmatics has signed a song transfer agreement with Teletunez Inc for their song "There's A Time For This". The song has been accepted in the Warner Brothers music library for later use in TV or Film. They share this spot with only 299 other musicians and bands.
The Karmatics are a renouned indie band that has played in a vast number of venues on the North Carolina Club scene. They were the winners of Raleigh's Live and Local TV contest in 2005 with an astounding 28,700 votes, putting them over the top and giving them bragging rights to the first live and local TV win. Along with the several TV appearances the band also was featured in a full length video and TV interview and a chance to play at the Raleigh BTI Center. The band members include, Curt Hobbs, vocals and guitar, Steve Baker, guitar and backup vocals, Erik King, guitar, Jeff Sills, bass and David Scott, drums. The only way to describe the music of The Karmatics is soothing and exciting. The band describes their style as "Karmatic style" and you'll understand what that style is once you've heard their music. You'll love them. There fan-base ranges from late teens to sixty up.
The Karmatics have several demo CD and one full length CD to their credit.
